Bonsai Interiors is a brainchild of Tanushree, an Interior Designer currently based in Mumbai. She has worked on a variety of design projects over the past 5 years in Delhi before moving to the new city. With the design philosophy – Create spaces that are a reflection of the user’s personality & their needs, while having a perfect balance of functionality and aesthetics, she always looks forward to taking up new challenges with creativity!
My Story
My love for art and design started early, I grew up in a home where participating in DIY projects to make our house more efficiently organised and creatively decorated was a regular family activity. And that is where I learnt to face challenges and solve problems with imagination!
After completing a graduation course to pursue a career in Microbiology research, my years of love for designing took over and I completed a 2yr full time post graduate course in Interior Designing & Styling from Pearl Academy (Delhi) to pursue my passion.
After receiving a Merit Scholarship on getting 1st rank in my batch for the year 2016, I started making a future plan to work independently as a Designer following a well-defined Design Philosophy focusing on finding solutions. The plan came to reality in 2018 after gaining experience working in well-established interior firms.
Bonsai Interiors was born with up taking up a 6,000 square feet office interior project. Ever since then I’ve worked on over 15 projects as a Freelance Interior Designer on both residential and commercial projects.
My love for traveling and meeting new people from different cultures helps me in having an open-minded and warm approach while working with different clients. No matter what design style I’m asked to create by my clients, I focus on designing each space with critical planning and innovative imagination to make them efficient while having a lot of character!
